16 June 2017 | Applications are now closed for the Media Management Training (Journalism) running January to May 2018. Maharat Foundation and DW Akademie are very pleased with both the number and the quality of the applications. More than 300 people applied to take part in the course. Some applicants will now be selected to move on to an interview stage. After the interviews, the final group to take part in the training will be chosen.
The course was open to applicants from Egypt, Kurdistan Region Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan and Morocco. Graduates of the training will receive a certificate to show they have gained extensive understanding of media management in the context of journalism. They will learn knowledge and skills that will help them run a media business successfully.
